OOG and Project transportation specialist SUNSHINE INT’L LOGISTICS recently has sucessfully completed transportation and roll-off operation of the stinger for HYSY 201, the world’s first 3,000-meter deepwater pipe laying crane vessel. The cargo weighed 1500Tons and had a dimension of 40x23.5x13.5 meters, needed to be transported from Zhuhai to Shenzhen. The voyage lasted around 4 hours and it took around 2 days to complete the whole operations.

On arrival at the roll-off site in Shenzhen, the cargo could not be directly offloaded from the barge due to technical problem of one of barge holds. The barge was unable to release water to increase buoyancy at stern and missed the water level. After adjusting offload plan and recover the barge hold door, the cargo finally offloaded from barge to land successfully with buoyancy increase by late tides.

This is another significant milestone for SUNSHINE INT’L LOGISTICS in the OOG & Project cargo transportation industry.
